Monterey, Califorinia (August 22, 2013) - Italian supercar manufacturer Pagani Automobili S.p.A. introduced its Pagani Huayra in US specification to crowds of automotive enthusiasts during the events leading up to the famed Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Monterey, Calif. last week. Gordon McCall's Motorworks Revival 2013 and The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering 2013, have been the scene where hundreds of the most influential car enthusiasts and journalists met to explore the first US spec Italian supercar up close. Finished in an astonishing Carbon fiber exposed body with a "Signature Rojo" red leather interior, the Pagani Huayra stole the attention of the crowd with its details. The Pagani Huayra received, during 2012, the most important european car awards being the 2013 "Car of the Year" from British performance car magazine Evo, the 2013 "Performance Car of the Year" award from Car magazine and 2013 "HyperCar of the Year" from the world famous magazine Top Gear . In 2013 the Pagani Huayra was able to further reaffirm its reputation as one of the world's premier high-performance cars by beating the TopGear circuit record for road homologated cars with a lap time of 1:13.8.
